Aspect	Details
1. Eligibility	Only players retained by their franchises before the auction are eligible for trading.
2. Trade Types	- All-cash trades (e.g., Hardik Pandya, Cameron Green) - Player swaps (e.g., Devdutt Padikkal ↔ Avesh Khan)
3. Player Consent	Mandatory: Both franchises and the player must agree to the trade.
4. Contract Details	- Trade fee is separate from the auction purse. - Player’s existing contract & salary move under agreed terms.
5. Rosters & Salary Cap	- Teams can retain or use RTM on up to 6 players. - The salary cap will increase to ₹151 crore by IPL 2026.
