From Siraj's Snub to Pant's Return: BCCI's Shocking Choices

The BCCI's selection process has become a complete joke. Over the last year, there’s been no logic or merit behind their decisions, leaving fans utterly frustrated.

Players are being randomly dropped, captaincy and vice-captaincy are handed out without reason, and some players are given endless chances while others are unfairly ignored.

What are they even thinking?

  1. Dropping Siraj
How can you drop Mohammed Siraj from a format he has been dominating? Look at the numbers:

    • Most ODI wickets by pacers since 2022:
      • Mohammed Siraj: 71
      • Bilal Khan: 68
      • Haris Rauf: 68
      • Shaheen Afridi: 66
    • Most ODI wickets by Indians since 2022:
      • Mohammed Siraj: 71
      • Kuldeep Yadav: 65
      • Mohammed Shami: 47
      • Shardul Thakur: 43

And yet, Harshit Rana gets picked for the England ODIs and as a backup for Bumrah in the Champions Trophy? Seriously?

  2. Gill as Vice-Captain
Shubman Gill being named vice-captain over Hardik Pandya makes no sense. Hardik has proven his leadership multiple times. What exactly has Gill done to earn this?

  3. Pant Over Samson
Rishabh Pant walking back into the team while Sanju Samson is ignored? This favoritism is getting unbearable.

This team feels more like a product of social media PR and politics than cricketing sense. Cricket isn't cricket anymore it's about who has the better public image. Lesson for the younger generation: invest in PR first, then think about playing the game.
