Yes, sometimes they get some advantages at home, but it's not always possible

Can't say I am in favour of that. Especially with the way the World Test Championship runs, you'd have to revamp the entire structure and a lot would ride on scheduling. Teams with more away series would have an unfair advantage over teams with more home games; it'll be a mess in my opinion.
